For many years, one man who has been in the industry of Information Technology for years is now being widely recognized as one of the most prominent leaders of his time. His skill and his profession has surpassed a lot of other businessmen, and due to his outstanding academics and degrees, he is now who they call Charles Phillips CEO.
He is the man responsible for leveraging the corporation Infor to such greater heights; he currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for this company since 2009. However, before he became successful and held high positions in different companies, Charles was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps; he was in the servitude for his country for quite some time. Prior to becoming Captain in the Marine Corps, he first graduated at the United States Air Force Academy; he took up a Major in BS Computer Science Degree. He knew in the very beginning that he had the passion for all thing’s computers, and he also knew that one day his future lies in the industry of Information Technology.
Having the Charles Phillips CEO title isn’t a short time achievement. However, before he reached this point in his career, Charles had to take the long road initially especially with his academics. He didn’t just study in the United States Air Force Academy; he knew back then that he will need more than one degree in order to accomplish all the long-term goals he has planned. By the time he received his B.S. Computer Science Degree Diploma, Mr. Phillips enrolled himself in another school to further increase his learning capacities, so he decided to again at the Hampton University, and in this school he received an MBA Degree. After finishing his studies in Hampton, he was still eager to learn more, he believed that if he expands his knowledge, his career options would even double for him. He then decided to go to the New York Law School to study, and after some time he received a JD Degree from the institution.
When he graduated from all the schools, he received diplomas in, Charles immediately set his mind in entering the real business world and try to make a profit of his long years in school. Equipped with the right knowledge, skills and background, he eventually got hired as a Managing Director at the Morgan Stanley Company.
It was his first Directorial job were fully used his senses to make sure that he brings everything he learned to the workplace. Charles also worked for a lot of companies after Morgan; he had positions as a Director as well at the Jazz at Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History, Viacom Company, Oracle Corp., and lastly, his final stop where he was appointed the Charles Phillips CEO title – Infor.
