Telling someone where to start is less effective than showing someone where to start. So to illustrate this I might build “screen capture exercising manuals” to show step by step on certain activities… later I moved to shooting videos and I constantly communicate through email with all my team members or partners.
Each time a Rainmaker is asked “how does an individual become like you? “… they don’t tell them how, these people always “show” them precisely how!
Mindset for becoming a Rainmaker :
This can be a easiest MLM Rainmaker trait to talk about. It’s short-term, to the point and direct. This mindset is usually learned but it is much harder than it looks. Isn’t it time? Okay… here it can be… it’s: Beneficial Confident Attitude! Yep, that’s the idea. All Rainmakers share this attribute. Ponder over it for a second. Positive attitudes produce positive results & negative attitudes create negative results. Now I know what you might be thinking… “sounds great and all but I know some buttheads that are highly successful”. Yes there are actually people with negative attitudes that are successful but they are confident! I would challenge though, that certain times that butthead who is successful might crash at some stage.
Rainmakers wake up every morning ready and excited to start the day. They get chills thinking about making money during the day. They typically are very thankful people who appreciate their families and don’t dwell on failures but always study from them. They are going to normally shy away from “gotcha” type people and they waste no negative applying for grants non-performers. Touch hint! If you need to work with a rainmaker be very prepared to work, stay focused and do not moan or complain because results do not show overnight.
Activities are what produce Rainmaker results :
Okay to make sure that third common trait is activities. Think about the most successful person you recognize… how hard is it to get in touch with them? What do they do all day? Yes, that’s right… that they plan their days & weeks out for activities that will only produce money. They’re just on the phone, on the computer, shooting videos, increasing websites, interacting on forums, and they pretty much eat, sleep & breathe activities. They’re just very busy people whot constantly analyze their activities and track performance. For instance a Rainmaker will know on Monday’s between 7pm-8: 30pm are the best time to schedule webinars to get a certain niche group within their time zone because most marketers set off part time. These people constantly analyze their team members and partners to spotlight working with those with the most potential or show the most future potential. Rainmaker’s will constantly do activity that ends in leads, contacts, and sales.
Another activity is after having a system. The Rainmaker knows ways to automate to capture leads and follow up. This is usually learned, offered by your primary company and also be outsourced. An actual Rainmaker keeps his personal activity in line to maximize his relationships while leveraging the net to touch more most people than he could in his group!
